Earl Dwight Hittle, a man of unwavering faith and remarkable strength, passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 97. He was born on December 2, 1927, to Earl N. Hittle and Lois I. Hittle.
Earl proudly served his country in the Army during World War II. Following his military service, he built a life dedicated to his family and his faith. On December 4, 1951, he married the love of his life, Jetta May Kipp, and together they raised four daughters.
A devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since 1956, Earl exemplified a life of service and dedication to his beliefs. He possessed an exceptional strength, both physically and spiritually, which inspired all who knew him.
Earl is survived by his daughters, Jetta Shaver (Ron) and Carol Jane Bakhus; his grandchildren, Katrina Newman, Jennifer Shaver, Crystal Bakhus, Brett Bakhus, Cheri Wiegele, Kimberlee Bakhus, Julie Rogers, Laura Rogers, and Tammy Garner; numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jetta Hittle; his grandson, Jason Marcoe; and his daughters, Callie Hittle and Patty Hittle.
