Earl Lamb

Mr. Earl Lamb, age 83 of Deputy, Indiana, entered this life on October 17, 1939 in Paint Lick, Kentucky. He was the loving son of the late Jake, Sr. and Rose V. "RV" Kinnard Lamb. He was united in marriage to Ethel "Faye" Skipper on May 15, 1961 in Kissimmee, Florida. This happy union of 60 years was blessed with two sons, Michael Earl and Paul Mancel. He lived in the Deputy area most all his life and owned/operated the Earl Lamb Sawmill for 35 years. In addition to his business, Earl also tended his own farm and helped others wherever needed. He was a member of the Lick Branch Baptist Church in Deputy, Indiana. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards and working on lawn mowers, plus loved spending time with his family and friends. A LOVING FAMILY
Earl will be missed by his loving son, Michael Earl Lamb of Deputy, Indiana; his loving grandchildren, Miranda (Kevin), Victoria, Jake (Carrie), Curtis (Erika); his loving great-grandchildren, Nathen and Chase; his brother, Ballard Lamb and his wife Phyllis of North Vernon, Indiana; his sisters, Elveree Ruark of North Vernon, Indiana, Shirley Perkinson and her husband Gary of Deputy, Indiana; his sister in law, Glenda Giddings of Peru, New York; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Jake Lamb, died November 8, 1981, his mother, Rose V. "RV" Kinnard Lamb, died August 24, 1988, his beloved wife of 60 years, Ethel "Faye" Skipper Lamb, died September 14, 2021, his loving son, Paul Mancel Lamb, died November 27, 2021, his brothers, Everett J. Lamb, died January 1, 2012 and Jake "Jakie" Lamb, Jr. died May 3, 2005, and his sister, Louise Lamb.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. by Pastor Stan Carroll at the Lick Branch Baptist Church, 10439 W. Deputy Pike Road near Deputy, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Lick Branch Cemetery near Deputy, Indiana.
VISITATION
Friends may visit Monday, from 4:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at Lick Branch Baptist Church near Deputy, Indiana.
