The family of Harold Allen Lamb Sr. is deeply saddened to announce his passing the morning of February, 19th 2026. Born on July 13, 1948 in Bedford County, Harold lived a full and remarkable life. He touched the hearts of everyone he met while trucking around the united states, coon hunting, and chewing the fat with the good ol’ boys around town. He will be remembered by his lovingly devoted wife of 21 years Sandra Lamb, son Harold Allen Jr. “Charlie” (Laura) Lamb, bonus children Jeremy (Teresa) Graven, Mark (Liz) Graven, and Annale “Annie” (Matt) Iltis, sister Peggy (Mike) Overcast, beloved Pappy to 4 grandchildren, and other cherished family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Lucille Lamb and brothers Larry and Wayne Lamb.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Lung Association.
The family thanks Dr. Christy Stewart, nurses Melanie and Chris, and all the Amedisys caretakers for their friendly and compassionate care.
