Dear Medansky Family,
I just caught up with this news or I would have been at shiva. I have such fond memories of Earl, who was forever enshrined in the Blakley family history on the day my dad brought Parker home. I said "he´s no bigger than Earl Medansky´s bald spot." Parker grew. For all the time we lived next door, Earl´s bald spot did not.
Reading the notices I see how much your family has grown! Earl leaves quite a legacy and I know he´ll be missed.
May his memory be a blessing and May you be comforted among the mourners of Zion.
Fondly, Allison Blakley

Earl hired me as his associate when I was a young attorney - just two years out of law school.
We shared an instant connection and worked closely together for nine years.
During those years, Earl mentored me, and by example, he demonstrated integrity, empathy and respect for clients and colleagues.
Earl was more than happy to provide me with advice and counsel whenever I asked for it, and even when I didn´t.
He taught me how to open and document a legal file, how to negotiate a contract, how to do a push-up correctly, and even how to decorate my home for which he enlisted Cookie, who also became a dear friend to me and Edye.
He treated me like another son which and that was the highest honor one could have.
We shared celebrations together and Earl was truly family to me.
Long after I moved on to other employment, we remained in touch; I always knew that whenever and wherever I was, if I needed Earl, he was there to lend support.
He will be missed, but never forgotten!

Dear Medansky Family, I met Earl at the Lawson Y in the 1970s and followed him and the gang to the East Bank Club. I worked out at a different time but I always enjoyed the times when our paths crossed which included legal matters. I hope your grief is short. I am sure that's what he would have wanted.
