Earl Lewis Miles Sr.

Earl Lewis Miles, Sr., age 95, of Jonesville, Michigan, passed away peacefully under the loving care of his family on February 9, 2026. He was born on March 23, 1933, in Jackson, Michigan, to Carl and Elizabeth (Smith) Miles, Sr.

Earl is survived by his beloved wife of 73 years, Nellie (Shong) Miles; loving children Earl (Christine) Miles, Jr., William (Kathy) Miles, and Beth (Craig) Adams; cherished grandchildren Megan, Chad, Cole, Tracy, Katrina, Kevin, Caleb, and Corey; Numerous great-grandchildren; one special cousin Evelyn Town.

He was preceded in passing by his dear parents Carl and Elizabeth Miles; one daughter Tina Miles; grandchild Jeffrey; siblings Ray Miles, Rich Miles, Sunny Miles, Bob Miles, and Nancy Nichols.

A proud United States Navy Veteran, Earl served as a supervisor at Conrail Railroad until his retirement. He worked for many years at the Jackson, Michigan location before the company relocated to Toledo, Ohio, after which he commuted. He has a passion for watching car racing and restoring antique automobiles. He also has a strong appreciation for nature, including fishing and watching tractor pulling events. Additionally, he found great satisfaction in spending time in his barn woodworking. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has been taken place.
