Earl Maynard Rodgers, 98, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family.
Earl was born on May 27, 1927, in Lewisburg, West Virginia, to Samuel Owen and Lula Hanger Rodgers. After growing up in Ohio with his seven brothers and one sister, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. Earl proudly served in both the Army and the Air Corps during World War II, earning a WWII Victory Medal, an Occupation Medal, and the Japan Good Conduct Medal.
