Earl Dean Sageser, 80, widower of Linda Sue Holloway Sageser, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024. Born June 4, 1943 in Scott County, he was the son of the late Robert Franklin and Agnes Wallace Sageser. Earl proudly served in the United States Army. He retired after many years of employment with Kroger. Earl was an avid golfer. He was also very meticulous when it came to his landscaping; his yard and flowers were always picture perfect. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Ruby Nelson, and sister-in-law, Martha Sageser.
Earl will be lovingly remembered by his children, Jennifer Sageser (Johnny King), Earl D. Sageser, Jr., siblings, Virgil (Jennie) Sageser, Bobby Sageser, Delores (Jimmy) Rogers, grandchildren, Bradley (Lindsey) Lee, Christin (Brandon) Mitchell, Kimberli Sageser, Parker Dawson, great-grandchildren, Myles Lee, Kennedyy Way, Kalii-Jade Way, Jace Guelda, Walker Lee, Harlowe Mitchell, Brayden Mitchell, Caeson Mitchell, Hank Mitchell, River Mitchell, Rylan Mitchell, special family friend, Steve Pribble, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services with Military Honors will be conducted at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Georgetown Cemetery. Memorial visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 11:00 am at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home. There will be a procession from the funeral home to the cemetery for those wishing to attend both events. Friends and family are encouraged to leave messages of condolence and share memories here on Earl's tribute wall.
