Glenda Josephine Sageser, age 80, of Brady, Texas passed away Friday, April 28, 2023, in Brady. Glenda was born January 5, 1943, in Hale Center, Texas to Charlie Ephraim Young and Josie Pearl (Springer) Young. She grew up in Hale Center and graduated from Hale Center High School in 1960. She married Billy Sageser on May 28, 1960, in Hale County, Texas. She worked as a secretary for the Midkiff Co-Op for several years. In 1980, Glenda and Billy bought a place on Brady Lake, where they made their home. Glenda worked for the Brady I.S.D. for a few years before retiring. She enjoyed playing dominoes, boating, fishing, puzzles, and the word search. She was a great cook and loved Bar-B-Que. She was raised in the Baptist Church.
Graveside services for Glenda Josephine Sageser will be at 2:00pm Friday, May 5, 2023, at Plainview Memorial Park in Plainview, Texas with her grandson, Jeremy Woods officiating. Visitation for Glenda will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Wednesday evening at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady. Friends may view Glenda's Memorial Video Tribute and/or sign her online memorial guest book at .
Glenda is survived by her husband Billy Joe Sageser of Brady, Texas; daughters Vicki Batla and husband Kenny of Pflugerville, Texas and Connie Woods of Amarillo, Texas; sister-in-law Darlene Young of El Paso, Texas; grandchildren Leslie Passalacqua and husband Tony, Mark Woods and wife Katie and Jeremy Woods and wife Amanda and great-grandchildren Bradley Woods, Alaina Woods, Izzy Passalacqua, Sawyer Woods, Ryan Woods, and Austin Passalacqua. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and son-in-law David Woods.
