Earl R. "Dick" Winters

Earl R. "Dick" Winters, 84, of Lebanon passed away on Tuesday November 14, 2023 at Neffsville Nursing Home. He was the husband of Arlene (Clements) Winters, with whom he celebrated 63 years in marriage.
Earl was born on January 17, 1939 in Lebanon, PA to the late Paul and Emma (Mease) Winters. He graduated from Lebanon High School. Dick worked as a Crew Chief for the Lebanon City Water Department. As Papa he enjoyed spending time with his three grandchildren and making sure they were spoiled as much as possible. In addition, he enjoyed working in his yard and flower gardens and making wooden bird houses for his wife to paint and hang in their yard to enjoy the variety of birds that came to visit. Upon retirement he became a regular at Heisey's Diner every morning to meet up with his buddies for coffee.
Surviving in addition to his wife Arlene, he is survived by his children, Janet Fields (Bruce), and Darin L. Winters (Kris), grandchildren, Michael Fields (Keely) Samantha Fields, Joseph Winters (Mollie), and great granddaughters, Nora and Maxine Fields, his siblings, Anna Mae Hostetter and Pauline Longenecker. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert Winters, Walter Winters, Grace Kissner, Christine Irwin, and Joanne Smith.
Burial will be in Covenant/Greenwood Cemetery.
