Earlene Schmidt Obituary
Earlene Devore Schmidt, 95, died at her home in Belton, Texas surrounded by family on May 8, 2025. Earlene was born in Oakdale Louisiana on June 17, 1929. Earlene loved life and traveled all over the US, Canada, and Mexico in her Airstream and motorhome. She enjoyed crocheting, shopping and traveling with family. She is survived by Rita (Harry) Williams of Belton, Texas. Sandra (Tim) Lay of Belton, Texas. As well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. . She was preceded in death by son Don Hess, grandson Lee Williams, husband George Schmidt, and partner Ed Miller. We were blessed for our time with her and her legacy will live on. Crotty Funeral home and Cremation are handling services for family. Services will be held later in Oakdale Louisiana
