Earleston Eugene Hill, 96 of Hagerstown MD
Passed away on Monday August 4, 2025 at Horsham Center For Jewish Life
Born August 10, 1928, in Fredrick County MD. Earleston was the son of the late Leon Benjamin and Inez Marie Brown Hill.
Earl as many called him was a caring lovable man, with so much knowledge. He received his education in Public School Fredrick County MD. He went on to graduate from Philadelphia Institute of Criminology. He began his Federal Service career at an early age in Baltimore as a Messenger. Through he advanced into numerous Clerical positions.
In 1951 Earleston was inducted into the United Stated Army, where he served in the 160th Infantry Regiment during the Korean War. Earlston received the Korean War Service medal with 2 Bronze Battle Stars, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the United Nations Service Medal, and the Korean Presidential Unit Citation. After leaving the Military Earlston worked for United States Military as a civilian Contractor and for the United States Government in various capacities.
In 1955 Earleston moved to the City of Philadelphia. In 1956 he met Willa Mae Watts, Married her in 1961. Together they had two son's Christopher E, Hill, and Rodney A, Hill.
In 1987 Earleston Retired from the United States Government. He was very active as a church member at St Raymond Parish. He enjoyed traveling to various parts of the country, and the world fulfilling his bucket list.
Earleston is Survived by two son's Christopher E, Hill and Rodney A. Hill, Sister Patricia Johnson, as well as numerous Niece's and Nephew's. Proceeding in death by Wife Willa Mae Hill, Sisters Isbella Johnson, Geradine Hester, Ginger Samuels.
