Earnest Ray "Bo" Henley, age 81, of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his residence on May 8, 2025. A lifelong resident of Manchester, Bo worked at Coca Cola for 52 years. He was known for his love of fishing, sports-especially St. Louis Cardinals baseball-Sunday country drives, and gathering with his family during the holidays and on cherished beach trips to Orange Beach, Alabama. He enjoyed playing card games, watching Westerns (with Gunsmoke being a favorite), and was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Manchester, where he was baptized by Dr. Cox in August 2005 and loved attending Sunday school. Bo was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Jessie (Hennessee) Henley; his brothers, Charles and Jerry Henley; and his sister, Hazel Henley. He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Henley; son Mark Henley (Mindy); daughter Melissa Todd (Scott); brother James Henley; sister Selma Henley; and five beloved grandchildren: Bodey Todd, Olley Todd, Emma Henley, Cara Henley, and Maddie Henley. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Manchester. Bo will be remembered for his kind spirit, devotion to family, and the joy he found in life's simple pleasures. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Manchester Funeral Home is honored to serve the Henley family.
