Earnestine Ricks, 75, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024, in Bartlesville, OK. Earnestine was born May 12, 1949, to Earnest and Laura Spencer in Dumas, AR, where she grew up.
She moved to Bartlesville, OK, in 1983. She worked as a housekeeper for twenty years at Medicalodge Nursing Home when she retired.
Earnestine loved watching the Dallas Cowboys, fishing, family, and holidays.
She is a member of the Truth Tabernacle Church.
She is survived by four sisters: Odessa Raven of Arkansas, James and Betty Spencer of Arkansas, Chris Spencer of Cleveland, Ohio, Verdie Jean Spencer-Long of St. Louis, MO; three brothers Chester Spencer and wife, Charlotte, of Bartlesville, OK, Edward Spencer of Little Rock, AR, and Al Perry Spencer of St. Louis, MO; and four sons: Nathaniel Ricks and wife, Cathy, Randy Ricks and wife, Laura, Cory(sp?) Walker and wife, Bethany, and Marcus Ricks, all of Bartlesville, OK. Twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, and a host of nephews and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents Earnest and Laura Spencer, two sons Marques Walker and Gregory Ricks, and four brothers Bo Spencer, Alonzo Spencer, Robin Elmo Spencer, Sr., Donnell Spencer, and June Spencer.
