Eddie Howard

Eddie Howard, 67, of Mead, OK passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022, in Kingston, OK. Eddie was born on June 21, 1954, in Olustee, OK to William Henry Howard and Susie V. (Jackson) Howard. He attended school in Kingston, OK and later worked in the oil field, and for WW Trailers before becoming a truck driver. Eddie married Betty Mae Barker on September 10, 1976, in Durant, OK. Eddie liked to fish, shoot pool and, hunt but aggravating all the kids is what he loved the most.
He is preceded in death by his parents William and Susie Howard, five brothers; Willard Howard, Cordell Howard, Reason Howard, Michael Howard, and Gary Howard, and three sisters; Ann Taylor, Allice Howard, and Fran Chambers.
Eddie is survived by his wife Betty Howard of the home, son Eddie Lee Howard II and wife Jennifer of St. Jo, TX, sister Mary Buerger of Mead, brother Doug Howard of Lawton, two grandchildren Mathew Sampson Howard and Evian Ice, and lots of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Hainline Cemetery with Bro. Brett Alberda officiating. Eddies nephews and nieces will be serving as pallbearers. After the service family and friends will gather at the KYCC in Kingston, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service of Durant.
