Eddie Dee Miller, age 70, went home to his prepared place in Heaven on March 28, 2026.
Eddie was born on March 22, 1956, in Tulare, California to Andrew Lee Burton Miller and Joyce (Goble) Miller.
A truck driver by trade he traveled many miles from coast to coast throughout his life. He liked to tell stories of his over the road adventures and could give you directions down to which lane to be in over the phone. He enjoyed fishing, grilling a good steak, and drinking an ice-cold red beer. Ed could be ornery and was still a kid at heart. He loved jesting with his family just to get a chuckle. His kindness reached far beyond the walls of his own home. If he saw someone struggling or in need, he didn’t hesitate — he stepped in, quietly and without expecting anything in return. He truly made the world a better place and will be greatly missed.
Eddie was preceded in death by his loving wife Pat Miller; One stepdaughter Cindy Cobian; parents Andrew and Joyce Miller; 3 brothers: Charlie Miller, Burt Miller, and Richard Miller. One sister Sissy (Irma) Ingram.
Eddie is survived by his daughter Meleny and wife Clara; Stepdaughter Sherry Pope, Grandsons, Ricky, Arron and wife Nancy: 4 granddaughters, Erica, Crystal, Liliana, Sara; “great grandchildren; Desiree, Ethan, Eden, Jake, Ava, Maddox, Amira and Matteo. Sisters; Barbara, Donna; brothers, Andy and Bo. Numerous nieces and nephews; Finally, Trish, who considered him to be Grandpa.
