Eddie Benard Parchmon

Eddie Benard Parchmon, of Rockford departed this earthly life March 19 2024. He was born February 18, 1960 in Haynes, Arkansas the son of Henry and Flourine Parchmon. Eddie lived in Rockford one year coming from Chicago, Il where he lived over 30 years. He was employed as a machine operator over 25 years by Dehler Manufacturing in Chicago and at Waste Management 7 years before retiring. He graduated from Forest City High School.
Eddie leaves to cherish many loving memoires, his daughter, Evita (Rodney Jones) Parchmon; four grandchildren, Jashawn, Jashura, Micah and Niciah; and one great grandson, Jashawn Jr; sister, Verlean Parchmon; and three brothers, Verlon (Gloria), Calvin (Susan) and Jerry Parchmon; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; three sisters, Linda Parchmon, Essie Parchmon, Elnora Austin, Lizzie Mae and Talee Parchmon; and three brothers, Lee Henry, Edward, and Jimmy Parchmon.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held 8:00 a.m. until the time of service
