Eddie F. Sanchez

Eddie Fuentes Sanchez went in to the arms of our Lord on September 29, 2022. He was 59 years old. Eddie attended Osborn Elementary, Wakefield Junior High and was a 1982 Turlock High School graduate. In high school he played football and was an avid wrestler. He loved sports and was always watching games when he could.
Eddie was born on September 11, 1963, in Turlock to Eduardo Sanchez and Anita Fuentes Sanchez. Eddie was the eldest of four sons, who all learned the value of hard work from their parents and not one of them ever forgot their roots. It was Eddie's work ethics that propelled him to realize his aspirations of being his own boss. In 1983, he began a lifelong profession operating his own retail meat business and was a certified meat cutter for the next 38 years.
Eddie was a kind man who was blessed with a loving family. He enjoyed music and cars with a passion. He could be seen with ear buds or head phones listening to music all the time. Sometimes when you were talking to him you realized that he was nodding his head but it was the music that he was listening to.
Eddie helped in the community by donating his meat services whenever he could. He was particularly proud to donate to Turlock High School and Pitman High School for their sports and field trip needs. He gave of his heart and talents whenever he could,
Eddie is survived by his parents, Eduardo and Anita Sanchez, his brothers: Hector (Vicki), Cesar (Kim), Carlos (Terri). He also leaves 2 children, Alex (Sierra), Brandon, one grandson (Luca), 5 nephews and 3 nieces. In addition, he is survived by his companion in life, Jazmin Keys, and many other family members and friends.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at Turlock Memorial Park on Soderquist Road in Turlock. Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock on Thursday, October 13 at 11:00 A.M., followed by a graveside service at Turlock Memorial Park. A gathering to celebrate Eddie's life will be held at the American Legion Hall at 75 Bothun Road, Turlock after the internment.
Eddie will be greatly missed. He survived many challenges in life but never gave up on his family and friends. The family requests that remembrances be made in Eddies's memory to a Go FundMe page to help his family.
