Eddie Zuniga

Born on March 22, 1960, in San Antonio, Texas, EddieZúñiga passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

A devoted father, husband, and brother, Eddie is survived by his daughter Desirae Rosenthal and son-in-law Eric; his brothers Elias and Ethan Zúñiga; and his beloved in-laws Guadalupe “Lupe” Gamboa, Eduardo “Edward” Arguello Jr. and his partner Sylvia, and Dorotea “Dorothy” Ledesma and her husband Chris.

He is also survived by his adored nieces and nephews: Vanessa and David John Gamboa, Edward and Anthony Arguello, Kaitlyn, Benjamin, and Brian Ledesma, and Baltazar Zúñiga; as well as his loving nieces-in-law, numerous extended family members, and many cherished friends.

Eddie was preceded in death by his loving wife Natividad “Natie"Zúñiga; his parents Elias Sr. and Enedina Zúñiga; his parents-in-law Eduardo Sr. and Teodora Arguello; and his brother-in-law David Gamboa.

Eddie lived life to the fullest—always ready for a new adventure or discovery. He loved traveling, exploring new places, and had a lifelong passion for cars and music. Above all, his greatest joy came from spending quality time with his family and friends.

He will be remembered for his warm sense of humor, his kindness, and the love and friendship he shared with everyone who knew him.

A Rosary will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Somerset, Texas, on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at the same location. Interment will follow at San Lorenzo Cemetery in Lytle, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Kidney Fund in Eddie’s memory.
