Eddy Douglas Curry

Eddy Douglas Curry, 71, of St. Augustine, Florida, passed away on December 2, 2024, at his home.
Born and raised in St. Augustine, Eddy was a proud son of the region, growing up on his family's farm where he learned the value of hard work from a young age. His childhood was filled with the sights and sounds of farm life, tending to cattle, growing potatoes, and helping produce a variety of crops that supported his family.
Eddy spent many years contributing his talents to the manufacturing industry at Northrop Grumman and later as a forklift operator at Walmart, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. Beyond his professional achievements, Eddy had a zest for life and a spirit of adventure. He found joy in exploring new places, had a passion for trucks, loved to dance, and cherished the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his children, John Curry, Sr. and Carol Boynton, 9 beloved grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 6 siblings. He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Curry and his parents, Bernard and Stella Curry.
