Edith A. Boyer was welcomed to her eternal home on February 9, 2025. She was born in Sutton, West Virginia on August 3, 1934, to parents, Wilbert and Alta (Johns) Knight. They preceded her in death, together with her son, Donald Boyer and sister, Mildred Riposo.
Edith was a woman of integrity, even though she had some challenging times in her life. She was committed, hardworking, with a strong sense of purpose. She loved Bluegrass Music, watching game shows and westerns. She was an avid Indians fan.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda (Gary) Neumeyer of Akron; grandchildren, Christina (Ryan) Stein, Angela (James) McAnalley, David (Michelle) Neumeyer, and Stephen (Melissa) Neumeyer; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brothers Roscoe, Ronald, Charles, and Olen Knight; and sister, Glenda Fisher.
The family will receive guests at Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, Uniontown, on Monday, February 17, 2025, from Noon until 1:00 PM followed by a Memorial Service. Edith’s grandson, Pastor Stephen Neumeyer will serve as officiant.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Lyndelle Huey and Pat Chambers with Briarwood Healthcare Community and Crossroads Hospice for their love, care, and warm smiles that greeted Edith each day.
