John Boyer Obituary
John was a talented graphic artist, art director, and photographer. He worked for many years in the publishing industry, with his career taking him not only to New York, but also to Hong Kong and Thailand. His creativity, curiosity, and open-minded spirit shaped both his work and his life.
John's greatest accomplishment was the deep and lasting connections he maintained with friends and family across the globe. He was warm, open-hearted, and quick to laugh, and he was a loyal friend to so many. A self-taught classical pianist, music was a lifelong source of joy and expression for him.
In retirement, John became a yoga instructor, dedicating his time to working with the elderly. He was one of the primary caregivers for his mother throughout her journey with dementia, a role he embraced with patience, devotion, and compassion.
John will be remembered for his kindness, generosity of spirit, and his love of dogs. His caring nature, gentle presence and wonderful sense of humor left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Geraldine Boyer. He is survived by Mary (Bill) Hollway, Jim Boyer, Anne (Kurt) Paske, Sarah (Chris) Willson, Patty (Tim) Schaller, Debbie Trom, nieces and nephews Billy (Katie) Hollway, Mike (Whitley) Hollway, Molly (Will) Olsen, Howard Boyer, Megan Boyer, Maria Garner, CeCe Garner, Karl Paske, Jimmy Paske, Cathy Paske, Danny (Maddie) Willson, Ellie Willson, Mark (Alice) Willson, Charlie Schaller, Joe Schaller, great-nieces and great-nephews Gabrielle Hollway, Owen Hollway, Lucy Olsen and many dear friends.
A celebration of life to be held in early summer. Memorials preferred to the Animal Humane Society.

John we will miss you. You easily made us laugh and were so sweet. You always were a good listener. When Petey s funeral was going and John came thru the front door I relaxed just seeing his strong , compassionate ,friendly and always loving smile. All the fun years of growing up together will be cherished remembering the Boyers and the Burkes. We love you each, like brothers and sisters. Tears fall . Love, and hugs all around, Cousin Anne
