Edith Joy Hausler of Prescott, AZ passed away 10/16/2025 in Sun City, Az with her daughter Hannah, sister Debbie and husband Rob Hausler by her side.
Joy was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Robert and Darlene (Crabtree) Brewer, June 14,1955. She was the youngest of 4 girls. She moved to Prescott, where she grew up, in 1959 with her parents and sisters. At an early age, Joy discovered that she loved cooking. She especially loved feeding her carefully prepared meals to family and friends, nobody ever left her house hungry.
Joy also loved crafting, she had such an eye for detail and would try anything. She loved entertaining and had company at her house often. She accomplished many things in her short life, her greatest love and her biggest accomplishment was raising her daughter Hannah. She was blessed with the opportunity to stay at home with her and that was just what Hannah needed.
Joy's beautiful smile and infectious laughter touched the hearts of many people; she will be greatly missed.
Joy is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Darlene Brewer and her sister Shelley Lee Brewer.
She is survived by Rob and Hannah, 2 sisters Deborah Brewer and Andrea Brewer and her large family of 2 nieces and 2 nephews, 6 great niece and nephews and 6 great-great nieces and nephews and extended family, all of whom she loved very much.
There will be a celebration of life Saturday 11/08/25, at 2pm at Prescott Elks Lodge #330 6245 E 2nd St., Prescott Valley, AZ 86314
