Edith Elaine "Edie" Dennison

Edith "Edie" Elaine Dennison, age 72, of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026 at the Hospice of Charles County, surrounded by love.

Edie was born on July 28, 1953, in Alaska, to the late Barbara (Mitchell) and Victor Baird. She was known for her strong spirit, candid personality, and unwavering loyalty to those she loved. Edie spoke here mind, stood firmly by her beliefs, and cared deeply about her community, especially local law enforcement.

Edie found joy in life's simple pleasures – shopping, playing her lottery numbers and scratch-off tickets, and spending time with her grandbees and dogs, for which she had a special fondness. Above all, she cherished time spent with her beloved husband, Jeffery. The two especially enjoyed dining together at their favorite local spots, Marie's Diner and Rucci's Italian Kitchen, creating countless memories over shared meals and conversations.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 24 years, Jeffery Dennison; her daughter; Angela "Angie" White and her husband Eric; sons; Craig Dennison, and Bryant Dennison and his wife Lori; her cherished grandchildren; Brendan and his wife Emily, Bailey, Brody, and Bella; and her adored great-grandchildren; Axel, and Leo; sisters. She is also survived by her sisters; Cheri Tatro and her husband Steve, and Lisa Beal; and her brother-in-law, Tom Lynch.

In addition to her parents, Edie was proceeded in death by her brother, Joseph Baird, and sister, Vicki Lynch.
