Edith was born on March 28, 1936 in Liberty, Kentucky to the late Elbie Tarter and Martha Thompson Tarter. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by children, Danny'O Daly and Ray Daly. Edith was a remarkable woman who always put others before herself. She was an LPN and worked at Elberta Nursing Home in Warner Robins, GA. Edith enjoyed bird watching, drinking her coffee, cooking, and was an avid fan of the Kentucky Wildcats. Most importantly, Edith enjoyed spending her time with her dear family and friends. She took pride in everything she did, including her crafts, painting, and gardening; she always had a green thumb. Edith dedicated her life to serving her Lord and Savior at The Church of Christ in Warner Robins Georgia for many years.
Edith is survived by her husband of almost 49 years, David Edwards; children: Darcy Emerson, Patrick (Joy) Daly, Cindy Entrekin, Amy (Sean) Birmingham; grandchildren: Joshua, Justin, Ashlyn, Drake, Jared, Destiny, Damien, Aaron, Casadi, William, Chris, and Amanda; great grandchildren: Jayden and Henry; siblings: Emmogene; Buddy; Elbie Jr.; Beulah; Gladys; Carlos; and a host of extended friends and family.
