Mary Edwards Obituary
She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Richard Clinton Edwards; her parents Stephen and Jean Bocko; and her sister Jenny Lou Clasby and her husband Tom Clasby.
Left to cherish her memory is her brother Steve Bocko, sister in law Margie Bocko; nieces Leigh Viner and Kyle Bocko; her nephew Chris Clasby; great-nephews Nathan Viner, Bailey and Julian Bocko and many cousins and close friends
A graduate of Shawnee High School, Mary Lee was born and raised in Louisville. She spent her professional career at the Ky Cabinet for Health and Human Services. After retirement, She taught classes for many years at the Southwest YMCA where she developed lasting relationships with friends who she cherished dearly.
Her life was filled with love and community through square dancing, travel, her Red Hat Group and through the Live Strong Foundation. Another of her great joys, was getting together with her family for holiday gatherings, which she hosted for many years.
There will be a Memorial Visitation from 1pm to 6 pm on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home 3800 Bardstown Road.

I loved teaching swim lessons at the Y with MaryLee! Have several fond memories with her. I will miss seeing her around the building. Sending lots of love to her family.

Doug and Ruby Laslie from her TOPS group ( Take Off Pounds Sensibly) we always had a good time with Mary Lee until she got sick and was unable to come
