Nancy Jane Edwards

Nancy Jane Edwards, 79, of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Nancy was born in Bloomington, Illinois to the late Lyle and Betty Edwards and retired from Kentucky Department of Transportation as an administrative assistant. She attended services at both Southeast Christian Church and Eastside Community Church and enjoyed working with the school-age children at Cornerstone Academy through their library. Nancy looked forward to the wonderful times she spent with her many friends at church events and Bible Studies.

She is preceded in death by her parents; three siblings; and great-grandsons, Todd Patrick and Colton Daniel.

Carrying on Nancy's legacy are her children, Lori Inghram, Jodi Collins, Kari Smith (Danny), and Todd Gillard; grandchildren, Christina Monhollen, Derek Inghram, Luke Inghram, Paul Clayton, and Jake Gillard; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Connor, Vera, Erianna, and Delilah; sister, Barbara Houston (Philip); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Nancy will be from 10AM to 1PM on Friday, March 6 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 10600 Taylorsville Road. Funeral service will be at 1PM on Friday at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse.
