Edith Lynch Murray, 77, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on April 16, 1948, Edith lived a life defined by strength, warmth, and an unwavering devotion to those she held dear.
A proud and loving mother of five daughters, Edith embodied resilience and grace in every chapter of her life. She was the steady, guiding force of her family—stubborn in the best way, fiercely protective, and endlessly giving. Her daughters often described her as their “fighter,” a woman who faced every challenge with grit and every joy with a full and generous heart.
She leaves behind a legacy of strength, laughter, and love—one that will continue to live on through her daughters, Lisa Kern, Erin Walker (Jeremy), Shannon Lambert, Colleen Murray (Wesley) her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and all who were touched by her presence.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Edward and Marguerite Lynch, brother, Edward Lynch and daughter, Shawn Murray Whitmire.
In honoring her wishes, no services will be held. The family appreciates your prayers, support and kind thoughts during this time. A private gathering will be held at a later date.
