Edith H. Skogen, 99, passed away February 11, 2025 at Pioneer Care in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
Edith was born to August and Ida (Drews) Boese on May 26, 1925 in Elizabeth Township, where she grew up and attended school.
On June 25, 1947, she married Reuben Skogen at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Elizabeth. They made their home in Fergus Falls. Edith was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Edith is survived by her daughter Marcy Grewe and son Maurice (Laurie) Skogen; granddaughters: Jeanna (Wayne) Alden, Jill (Brian) Lougheed, Mallory (Ryan) Thang; great grandchildren: Landyn, Mackenzie and Macy Thang, Logan Lougheed; and numerous nieces, nephews & friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Reuben in 1994 and many other loved ones.
Funeral service will be Tuesday February 18, 2025, at 2:30pm at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls. A visitation will be one hour prior at 1:30pm.
