Edith Sullivan Obituary
Mrs. Edith Bernita Poore Sullivan, age 82 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Sullivan will be conducted on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 4PM in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. John Stacey and Bro. Lynn Tharp officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
She was born January 22, 1941, in Santa Rosa, Texas; the daughter of the late Malcolm Odel & Mary Ann (Wilbanks) Poore. She was a homemaker and member of Dyer Church of Christ.
She is survived by three children, Teresa Silverblatt (James), Bobby Sullivan (Sabrina), Becky Raspberry (Jeff); six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by siblings, Shelba Ann Young and Charles David Poore.
The family will receive friends from 2:30PM-4PM on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Edith Bernita Poore Sullivan.
