Edith Kay Todd, 82, a beloved longtime resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Sommerset Assisted Living in Oklahoma City.

Edith was born January 20th, 1943 in Richmond, California, the daughter of Aubrey Samuel Robertson and Edna Muriel (Jackson) Robertson. She grew up in Stratford, OK and attended Stratford Public Schools, where she played basketball in high school and continued playing in a women's league, and also playing softball, into her 40's in Oklahoma City.

In 1959, she was married and had 4 daughters: Pam, Robin, Jerri Kim and Kelly. She married Larry Todd in 1975 and gained 3 more children: Rusty, Kari and Robert. Edith and Larry stood strong together, raising these 4 teenagers and 3 younger children, through thick and thin. They were abundantly blessed with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each one holding a special place in their hearts.

Edith was a devoted member of Eagle Heights Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. Her gentle spirit, kind smile and unwavering love for others reflected the heart of Jesus in everything she did.

Edith was able to stay home with her children and raise them until 1972 when she got a job at Dayton Tire where she worked until she retired in 2003.

At the age of 51 she was diagnosed with cancer, and later COPD. She endured many long, painful, hard years which she handled with God given strength and grace. She consistently displayed a smile, serving as a remarkable representation of the human spirit's resilience and the goodness of God.

Edith was welcomed into heaven by her loving parents; her nephew Tony Robertson, her daughter Kari (Todd) Farmer, her son-in-law, Dan Conn; and numerous other family members.

She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and laughter that will live on through those who loved her most: her husband, Larry Todd of Oklahoma City, her children: Pam Conn of Newcastle, Rusty & wife Annette Todd of Enid, Robin & husband Lance Ledbetter of Blanchard, Jerri Kim Turner & husband Randal Brown of Lexington, Robert Todd & Mark Castelli of Oklahoma City and Kelly & husband Jon Coleman of Sand Springs, 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, her brother Richard and wife Barbara Robertson of Wynnewood and many nieces, cousins and nephews.

Those who knew Edith will forever remember her joyful spirit, her love for family, and her kind heart. We can only imagine her radiant smile and joyful heart as she entered the gates of heaven.
