Edna Nathalene Hoskins

Edna Nathalene Hoskins, age 81, of Miller, Missouri passed away at 10:20 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025, at her home. She was born on October 5, 1944, in California, the daughter of Nathan Eli and Esther Irene (Ridens) Ellison.
Nathalene was a farmer, but most importantly a Sunday school teacher of children and attended Mt. Vernon Church of the Nazarene in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. Her greatest joy in life was teaching children about Gods love.
On December 19, 1961, she married Kenneth Leroy Hoskins, in Turlock, California. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2008.
Nathalene is survived by her four children, Dale Hoskins and his wife, Jenny, of Hillsboro, Oregon, Kevin Hoskins and his wife, Lisa, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, Tammy Dinwiddie of New Philadelphia, Ohio and John Hoskins; as well as her five grandchildren; Sabriana Price and her husband, Ken, Cole and Jake Hoskins and Alyssa and Jimmy Dinwiddle.
Nathalene was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan, and Irene; her husband, Kenneth; one sister, Alice Mitchell and two brothers, Ralph and Paul Ellison.
A graveside service under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Miller Memorial Gardens in Miller, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made payable to Mt. Vernon Church of the Nazarene in care of the funeral home.
