EAST LIVERPOOL – Edna G. Koerber, 94, of East Liverpool, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025, at her home.
Edna was born on May 24, 1930, in East Liverpool, a daughter of the late Francis J. "Frank" and Isabell V. (Reese) Mountford. She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School. Edna worked at the Ferro Corporation, Commercial Decal and later in life really enjoyed working as a food prep at McDonalds. She enjoyed planting flowers and crafting ceramics. Edna was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. She was a past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 374. Edna was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She really enjoyed the time she spent with her late husband when they moved to Florida after their retirements.
Preceding Edna in death were her husband Norris J. "Dude" Koerber; granddaughter Emily Foreman; two great-grandchildren Serena Workman and Brandon Stryczny; son-in-law Dennis Dailey and sister Edith Barnhart.
Left to cherish her memory are seven daughters Jennifer Workman, Janice Dailey, Joan Cooper and her husband Bob, Grace Manypenny and her husband Rick, Kim Koerber, Carolyn Marple and her husband Scott and Alisa Koerber and her husband James Jones and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit Monday, May 12, 2025, at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Rev. Jon Coventry of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church will conduct a funeral service on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
