Edna was born on June 12, 1958 to the late Edna and William Morris in Geneva, AL. In her free time, Edna enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, baking and caring for her family whom she loved dearly.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Earl Morris. She was also preceded by her paternal grandparents, Silas and Matilda Morris; her maternal grandparents, Mixon and Jesse Miller.
She is survived by her spouse, Edward Carroll; sons, Nicholas Carroll of Greenwood, FL, Christopher Laferte of Marianna, FL; daughters, Nicole Schroeder of Whitemarsh, Maryland, Christina Mulligan of Rosedale, Maryland and Casie Mitchell of Greenwood, FL. Survivors also include three brothers, Ronald Morris of Opelika, AL, Danny Morris of Springfield, MO, Scott Morris of Samson, AL, as well as twelve grandchildren, Jasie, Carson, Jaycee, Paisley, Teagan, Hunter, Jaden, Brett, Colin, Blake, Reagan, and Olivia.
Funeral services will be 10 A.M., Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Rocky Creek Tabernacle with Pastor Alvin Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in The Garden Cemetery in Darlington, FL with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends from 9 A.M. until the time of service at Rocky Creek Tabernacle.
