Graveside Committal Service with Military Honors will be held at 2 PM, December 12, 2025 at the Rock Island National Cemetery in Rock Island, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Prairie Edge Humane Society at 1500 Clinton Lane suite F, Northfield, MN They were very helpful in taking care of her animals when she couldn't take them when she moved to the Summit.
Edna was born in Iowa City, the daughter of Gaylord and Clarine (Haase) Hall. She was a registered nurse and served in the US Air Force. Edie was proud to serve in The US Air Force Nurse Corp as a Captain.
She was preceded in death by Jim Dickson in 1978. On July 19, 1992 Edna married Myron Langenfeld.
Edna is survived by her husband, Myron of Coralville; three children, Lara (Jon) Dively, Dax (Gwen) Dickson and Sara Dickson and stepchildren Christine and Wayne Langenfeld; grandchildren, Tyler (Jenna) Dively, Anna Dively, Emma and Clare Weinrich and stepchildren Aria; and siblings Diane Dusek, Vern (Rita) Hall, Janet Bowman and Christy (Bill) Hryhorczuk.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings. Ruth, Wendell, Donald, Dean, John and Michael
