In Loving Memory
With heartfelt sadness and deep gratitude for her life, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Nancy Alice McKeever Langenfeld, on December 7, 2025.
Born on September 4, 1947, in Syracuse, New York, Nancy was the daughter of the late Margaret Ford McKeever and Herbert McKeever.
Nancy graced this world with a gentle spirit, a generous heart, and a strength that inspired everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was the devoted mother of her children: Brendon, Holly, Michael, and Timothy; and grandmother of: Ethan, Ella, Anya and Nash of whom she loved unconditionally. Her life was woven with quiet acts of kindness, late-night John Denver songs and beautiful sunsets on Lake Wylie, always with a glass of wine in hand. She carried a brave spirit that transcended hardship and continually found the compassion life had to offer.
Nancy, who was a caring nurse by profession, was a source of support and laughter to her family and friends. Her bond with her siblings was built on shared memories, encouragement, and a love that endured through every season of life. She brought light wherever she went, offering guidance, humor, and comfort with remarkable grace.
Her legacy is one of love, friendship, and support. She leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory and honor her by carrying forward the warmth and kindness she gave so freely.
Though our hearts ache with her absence, we take solace in knowing she passed peacefully and is now at rest. Her spirit lives on in the lives she touched and in the love she cultivated so effortlessly.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date in the future.
