Julia Ann Langenfeld

Julia Ann (Jensen) Langenfeld passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025 in St. Louis, MO,

Born in Highland, IL, she was the daughter of Louise (Simmons) and the late Dr. Roger Jensen.

She married Forrest Langenfeld on June 9, 1979 in Centralia, where they still reside.

They were blessed with two beautiful children. Daughter: Kathy resides in St. Louis and son; Andrew who resides in Celebration, FL.

In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by her mother Louise, sister Pam Kreke, brother J.R Jensen and sister-in-law Bobbie, brother Jeff Jensen and sister-in-law Mary Jo, and sister-in-law Tammy Jackson and brother-in-law Ben. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who she adored.

She was preceded in death by her father: Dr. Roger Jensen, her mother and father in law: Paul and Wilma Langenfeld, and brother-in-law: David Kreke.

She graduated from St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 1980 and proudly served the Centralia community for 38 years as a registered pharmacist until her retirement.

Per Julia's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 5, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Pastor Tony Paulson officiating. Visitation will be held Friday morning from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests flowers to be animal safe and memorial donations be made to the Centralia Humane Society and/or CCBA and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home located at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618)532-3523, who is honored to be of service to Julia's Family during this difficult time.
