Edna Harden Miller, 91, went home to meet her Savior on March 7, 2023.
Edna Earle Harden Miller was born on May 12, 1931, in Seneca, South Carolina as the eldest daughter of the late James Martin Harden and Ruth Perry Harden.
Edna moved to Greenville in 1947 where she met her late husband, Jay Miller. They lived in Greenville where they raised 3 children. Edna was a longtime member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she had many wonderful friends.
Edna worked in the IT Department at Bob Jones University until her retirement in 2012. She was passionate about many things: her church, her friends, her family, and her love of her Lord. She was fiercely independent and incredibly loved by her family and her friends.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Berry, Stanley Miller (Kay), and Stephen Miller (Christy); eleven grandchildren, Melissa Gurkin (Mark), Gordon Berry, Rebekah Berry, Joy Miller, Holly Munoz (Luis), Emily Miller, Jay Miller (Taryn), Bradley Miller, Hannah Miller, Zachary Miller, and Caleb Miller: and five great-grandchildren, William Munoz, Alexander Munoz, Nathan Munoz, Rylie Kate Miller, and Lux Miller. She is also survived by her brother, David Harden and her sister, Annie Ruth Daniels.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Miller; her two brothers, Charles and "Bud" Harden, and her son-in-law, Richard Berry.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m, at Tabernacle Baptist Church, immediately followed by a memorial service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church Missions, 3931 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611.
