Edna Pierce V.

Edna V. Pierce, age 76, passed away surrounded by her family July 19, 2022.
She was born in Mogadore on July 12, 1946 to the late John and Edna Murphy. Edna loved kids and could often be found babysitting. She was involved in sports, ranging from watching her children and grandchildren participate in their own sporting events to helping run the Mogadore Junior Pro basketball program. She enjoyed boating on the lake and was a great cook, achieving the title of "best chocolate chip cookie baker" by her family.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Pierce; daughter, Edna Verna Pierce; and 8 siblings. She is survived by her children, Ralph Jr. (Jess), Richard (Brenda), Ronald (Rachel), and Randy (Misty); grandchildren, Alicia (Duane), Brittani (Bob), CJ, Justine (Jeff), Austin (Miah), Lexie (Tommy), Meghan (Jared), Sarah (Eric), Preston, Davey, Tony, and Mikey; great-grandchildren, Addison, Abel, and Maverick; brothers, Larry and Paul Murphy; as well as many other family members.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mogadore Schools Alumni Foundation, of which Edna was a founding and active member. She was also a hugger so in honor of her, make sure to tightly hug those you love.
