Edna Regan Wolfe, 93, widow of Joseph A. Wolfe, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 23, 2021 at her home on John's Island. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 27, 2021, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021 in the West Ashley Chapel at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Masks and social distancing are required. Mrs. Wolfe was born on February 25, 1928 in Wilmington, NC, to the late Walter Irving Regan and the late Annie Rosalie Brewer Regan. She was raised in the city of Charleston and attended Charleston city schools. Mrs. Wolfe was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt, and friend. Until the pandemic, she was an active and faithful member of Crossroads Community Church of James Island. She was a friendly outgoing person who especially loved children and pets. Mrs. Wolfe is predeceased by her husband, Joe, of 36 years; her parents; her daughter, Rose Wolfe Muckenfuss; and her sisters, Aurelia Regan Elsey and Rose Regan Weeks. She is survived by her daughters, Marion Wolfe Page (Jack) of Titusville, FL and Jo Ann Wolfe Taylor (Kenny) of James Island; son, Robert "Bobby" Wolfe of John's Island; four granddaughters, Kathryn Page Weinstein (David) and Barbara Page Woodward (Billy) of Titusville, Fl, Bethany Taylor Leamon (James) of Hollywood, SC, and Rebecca Taylor Gonzales (Ryan) of John's Island, SC; five great grandchildren, Natasha Weinstein of Washington DC, Katarina Weinstein, Ava Woodward, and Ethan Woodward of Titusville, FL, and Grady Gonzales of John's Island; great great granddaughter, Sienna Webster of Titusville, FL; three nephews, John Elsey (Katherine), Rhett Weeks (Linda), and Don Weeks; niece, Linda Lindley (Rick); several grand nieces and nephews; and life long best friend, Shirley Laport. Flowers will be accepted or memorials donations may be made to Crossroads Community Church of James Island, 942 Folly Rd., James Island, SC 29412.
