QUEENSBURY, NY - Raymond F. Wolfe, 89, of Queensbury, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Glens Falls Hospital with his family by his side.
Born August 19, 1936, in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Frank J. and Elsie (Peno) Wolfe.
Raymond graduated from Glens Falls High School in 1956. After graduation, Ray worked for the Post Star, CibaGeigy, and Finch Pruyn.
Some of his enjoyments and hobbies were riding his scooter, auctions, garage sales, collecting his treasures, coffee at the diner, playing pinochle at the Queensbury Senior Center with his friends and playing pinochle with his Friday girls.
On June 28, 1958, Raymond married Janice E. MacEwan at the First Baptist Church in South Glens Falls.
He was a member of the Queensbury Senior Center and the West Glens Falls Community Chapel.
In addition to his parents, Raymond was predeceased by his wife, Janice E. (MacEwan) Wolfe.
Left to cherish Raymonds memory are his children, Connie (Charles) Norman, Ronald (Donna) Wolfe, and Cindy (Roger) Brodeur; grandchildren, Erik (Ally) Norman, Michael (Kayla) Norman, Jackie Norman (Kendra), Ryan (Alyssa) Wolfe, Gregory Wolfe (Lucrecia Calleros), Kellen (Gabby) Wolfe, Benjamin Brodeur, and Rachel Brodeur; great-grandchildren, Fynleigh Norman, Maverik Norman, Callie Norman, Landon Norman, Emmett Wolfe, Amelia Wolfe, Ivy Wolfe; sister, Betty Wimette; faithful companion who will miss him dearly, Charlie the Chihuahua; along with several nieces and cousins.
Friends and family may call from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home 136 Main St. South Glens Falls, NY 12803.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11am on Monday, February 2, 2026, at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the service at Pine View Cemetery.
The family would like to give special thanks to all the staff at Albany Medical Center, Glens Falls Hospital and special friend Julie for all their care and compassion.
