Ednes Elizabeth Dennison

On October 4, 2025 around 2:30pm, our mom, Ednes Elizabeth Dennison, went

home to be with the Lord. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Dennison. She is survived by her

sister Alice (John) and her 2 daughters, Marian (Bobby) and Elaine (Bill) and 1 son,

Billy (Lisa). She also has 8 grandchildren; Andrew, Adriane (Phillip), Kairi (Joseph),

Allex, Ryean (Jeremiah), Arin, Connor, and Kayla. She has 4 great grandchildren;

Jaiden, Koltin, Kooper, and Astell, plus many other family and friends.

Our mom/grandma loved the Lord! She taught herself how to play the piano at a

younger age and had such a great ear for music. She has also been a teacher for

47 years and 44 of those years she taught at ICW Baptist School in Chesapeake,

Virginia. She made many sacrifices for her children and grandchildren over the

years but she wouldn't have had it any other way. She used to drive from Powells

Point, NC every day but Saturday, for school and church and we hardly ever

missed a service. Dedicated is an understatement! We are so blessed to have

had the time we did with her here on this earth and we look forward to eternity

with her in heaven one day.
