Funeral service for Edsel Harold "Hal" Mann, Jr., 69, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. There will be a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. He passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at his home.

Hal was born in Greenville, MS, to Edsel Hazel Mann and Geri Mays Mann. He graduated from Greenville Christian School in 1974. He married Pamela Moore, and they made their home in Greenville, where he owned and operated Mann Tree Surgeon, fulfilling many government contracts from New York to Hawaii and throughout the United States. Hal also owned and operated Mann Pest Control, retiring due to ill health in 2007.

He was a member of Southside Baptist Church, and for the last several years, he has been faithful to the First Baptist Church TV ministry. Hal was an avid hunter and loved his dog Brandi.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Edsel Harold "Tripp" Mann III.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Moore Mann; granddaughter, Kayden Finn; sister, Dawn Ferguson, and nephews, Trace and Clint Scrivner.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Becky, Cat, and Sissy with Delta Health System Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to any animal shelter or a charity of choice.
