Anita E. Mann, 74, of New Castle passed away the evening of October 22, 2025 at her residence.
Born in New Castle on June 13, 1951, Anita was the daughter of the late Tony and Esther Santilo Frank.
On September 29, 1978 Anita married her beloved husband, David G. Mann. They spent forty-two years together, until his passing on December 4, 2020.
Anita was employed at the Hallmark Shoppe in the Towne Mall in New Castle. She then worked at the Candy Store in Volant, PA for eighteen years. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish.
Anita was a selfless, caring, giving person and was always ready to help anyone in need. She always enjoyed time spent with family and going to auctions over the years. Also, keeping a beautiful yard was something she excelled in.
Niagara Falls was a special place for her and David to visit, also long drives not knowing where they would be ending up was always fun on a Sunday afternoon. She never missed one of her brother's softball games. She would wait by the phone, every hunting season, for him to call to see if he got that big buck. She was his biggest fan.
Anita is survived by her brother, Johnny A. Frank (Annie), her aunt, Esther Santilo all of Ellwood City and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, Anita was preceded in death by her two dogs, Jack and Rascal who were truly her greatest joy.
Visitation will be on Monday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A Blessing Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home, officiated by Deacon John Carran. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Humane Society, 628 Pearson St., New Castle, PA 16101.
