Born in New Castle on March 6, 1952, Joe was the son of the late Joseph A. Macri, Jr. and Esther Ponzi Macri.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife, the former Loretta Sprout. The two were married on July 30, 1991.
Joe was the owner/operator of Kelly Auto Glass for over twenty years.
Joe was an active member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church and a longtime usher. He loved music and enjoyed playing drums for several local bands. Joe was an avid car buff, loved classic cars and going to the car shows with his Best Buddy. He also enjoyed woodworking. A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Joe's greatest joy was spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Joe is survived by his three children, Amanda Wimer (Jeff), Jackie Pegnato (Frank) and Greg Fields (Alva), two brothers, Michael J. Macri (Marcia) and Raymond F. Macri (Stacy), six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his brother, Louis Macri and his grandson.
Visitation will be on Monday 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A procession will leave the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. Father Aaron Kriss will officiate.
Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
