Eileen Best Obituary

Born in Evans City, PA on January 29, 1936, Eileen was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Emma Wymer Burgard.
In 1959 Eileen married her beloved husband, Donald Best. Don preceded her in death in 2008.
Eileen had worked for Dr. Panek & and Dr. Struble in Ellwood City for many years as an office receptionist.
Eileen was a Woman of Faith. She was a long- time member of Castlewood Alliance Church where she taught Sunday School for over fifty years. Eileen was also member of the Tuesday Morning Bible Study at the church. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Eileen's greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
Eileen is survived by her daughter, Connie Minner (Scott) and her son, Dwayne Best (David McKinney), her sister, Caroline Young, three grandchildren, Joshua Minner (Mary), Mason McKinney Best and Levi McKinney Best, three great-grandchildren, Anissa, Airelle and Skyler.
In addition to her parents and husband, Eileen was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be on Thursday 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A Funeral Service will immediately follow on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Jim O'Hara. Burial will be in Lillyville Church of God Cemetery in Ellwood City.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Castlewood Alliance Church, 660 Harmony Baptist Road, New Castle, PA 16101.

Praying for you and the family. Eileen was always such a cheerful, encouraging sister-in-law who will be missed by her family.
