Kenneth A. Kent, 84, of Gardner Center Road, in Shenango Township, died Monday, October 27, 2025, at Northview Estates in Ellwood City. He was born on January 2, 1941, in Ellwood City, PA, a son of the late Donald Kent and the late Annabelle (Houk) Yarzebinski. He was also preceded in death by his adopted parents, Edward and Francis Sox. Mr. Kent was married to Patricia (Schrantz) Kent, who died July 3, 1978. He is also survived by his former second wife, Rebecca (Fezell) Pratte. He was a machinist at Ellwood City Forge, retiring after 40 years. Mr. Kent enjoyed auto racing and working on racecars, traveling, and maintaining his property. Above all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is also survived by two children, Arnold E. Kent and his wife Michele of New Castle, and Tammara J. Stevens and her husband Charles of Mercer, PA, four grandchildren, Luke Stevens, Sarah Stevens, Lacee Reese and her husband Josh, and Ty Kent, and two sisters, Kathy Cavigliano and Kevin Lynn Yarzebinski.

He was also preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 4 PM to 6 PM at the William F. DeCarbo & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Funeral services will be celebrated Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 6:00 PM, at the William F. DeCarbo & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
