Theodore Andrew Data, 81, of Jackson Avenue, New Castle died Sunday, February 8, 2026, at UPMC Jameson Hospital. He was born in New Castle on November 10, 1944, a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Wolanin) Data. He was married to Darlene R. (Rowe) Data in April 1967; she survives in New Castle. Mr. Data was owner and operator and baker at Joe Tucker’s Bakery for 30 years; his specialty was making icing roses. He was an excellent baker, he enjoyed painting, writing short stories, and coloring with his grandchildren. Mr. Data loved the Lord and his family. He was also an Army veteran of the Vietnam era.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Darci L. McIltrot and husband Bob of New Castle, and Sean A. Data of New Castle. Two grandchildren, Braydon Micaletti and wife Tori, Stephen McIltrot and wife Maggie.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Data, and one sister, Darlene Joan Gricks.
