I was glad to see the message about Ed´s Birthday. I knew it was about this time and was thinking of him and all his Dear family and friends who are missing him so much. I have been Praying for you all and will continue to do so. As I mentioned in my original post I was very shy in High school and was in a class with Ed and Ed Blochwiak (I can tell I did not spell that right). They had me sitting in between them in a very boring Spanish class. But it wasn´t long at all before it was not boring. But I learned NO Spanish or at least none I retained. It was the first time I ever got in trouble in a class but Ed was irresistible. And with two of them there was no hope for me. I came out of my shell and it extended into the rest of my life as well. They both watched over me as well as getting me in trouble with Miss Trinkle. I went to see Ed play in a band and sing and it was always such a joy. I don´t think he ever knew but my Dad, who was my Heart and Soul, had died during the summer before and my Heart was Shattered. My Mom was in a Deep Depression, didn´t interact with anyone, my brothers were grown, married and gone. We had nothing and I worked two part time jobs trying to feed us. It was the very worst time of my life and there have been bad times as we all have, but Ed not only showed me I could find joy if limited at the time. He showed me compassion and friendship with no limits and no strings. He was everything I read about him in his obituary but even words can´t completely describe him somehow. It is my Honor to have known, loved, and appreciated him, Ed came into my life at a time I was so lost and showed me there was Hope. It is my Honor to have known him. I have often wished I had told him myself how much he helped me, I can´t imagine he could know to what extent, but I Hope and Pray he did or does now. I know where he is now, he is safe and happy and waiting for you all. God Bless You!

Ed, I haven't seen you in a very long time but you were a very kind friend who always knew how to make me feel better. I was pretty shy, but you always made me smile and laugh. You made many people feel better over your life I am sure. You were a Blessing to this world. Your sense of Humor and Compassion for others was ever present. Prayers to all you Love! Thank you, Eddie.
