Edward Charles Alborn, affectionately known as Eddie passed away on August 11th, 2024, in Canton, Ohio at the age of 72. Born on November 9th, 1951, in East Sparta, Ohio. Eddie dedicated many years of service to the Stark County Engineer’s office before retiring in 2007.
Eddie leaves behind his beloved wife of 51 years, Betty l. Alborn and their children, Robert (Rob) Alborn of East Sparta and Michelle (Shell) Alborn & Matthew Metcalf of Malvern.
He was a cherished grandfather to Seth Alborn and Alyssa Metcalf of Malvern, and Jakob Rice of Dover, and a great-grandfather to Damon Rice of Dover.
He is also survived by his brother, Jack (Carol)Alborn and sisters, Shirley Huff and Darla Wickham all of Canton; along with several nieces and nephews.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Edward "Sonny" Alborn and June Alborn and his brother, David Alborn.
A memorial service for Eddie will be held August 31st 2024 @3:00 pm (The Red Barn) Fohl Village 5729 Joleda Dr SW Canton Ohio 44706, to honor his memory and celebrate his life. Condolences and special memories of Eddie can be shared with his family online at www.heritagecremationsociety.com
