Edward James Amor, Jr., "Jim", 76, of North Andover, Massachusetts. Born March 16, 1948 in Beverly, Massachusetts passed away peacefully at home on October 12, 2024. Jim was the son of Edward J. Jim is predeceased by his sons Steve, Eddie and Eric and his brother Don.
In his younger years Jim worked at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Danvers, MA. The majority of his working life was spent at Far Corner Golf Course in West Boxford, MA., where he was the greens superintendent.
Jim was an athlete from a young age. From Little League in his youth to men's softball leagues and golf as an adult. Golf was a passion for many years. He also loved fishing. He enjoyed fishing anywhere, but especially loved to fish the streams with his father and brothers in Vermont.
Jim was a man of many nicknames. Jimmy, Jimbo, Jimbag and Mick Dundee. The neighborhood kids called him Bathrobe Man. He often went to the corner store for scratch tickets in his bathrobe or long underwear. Always the fashionista.
The family will be holding a private Celebration of Life at Far Corner Golf Course on November 1, 2024. They welcome you to share memories or "Jim Stories" on the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home website., www.breenfuneralhome.com.
